Empress Ki / Emperatriz Ki

Ya he vuelto!! 

En realidad nunca me he ido, pero la semana se me hace eterna con la universidad y todo eso y a veces tengo la sensación de que no he escrito nada en el blog desde hace meses, pero en realidad todavía no ha pasado ni una semana, como se nota que os hecho de menos~   >_<

I'm back!! 

Actually I've never left, but the week seems to be eternal with college and that stuff and sometimes I feel I haven't written anything on the blog for months, but in reality it hasn't been even a week, that means that I miss you a lot.~   > _ <

Hoy por fin voy ha hablar de EL Drama, y es EL porque es mi favorito hasta la fecha, y al que ya he mencionado un par de veces, Empress Ki, o Emperatriz Ki.

Y sólo para que lo sepáis, la pista anterior no era la la emperatriz Qi (emperatriz real en la que está basado el personaje de Ki), sino la emperatriz Wu Zetian, que ¿por qué? Pues porque no encontré ninguna imagen suya (y cuando digo imagen digo pintura). Y elegí como sustituta a Wu Zetian, no sólo porque me parecía muy mona, sino porque su historia es bastante interesante pues fue la primera y única mujer en la historia de china en ocupar el trono.

En fin, empecemos!

Today I'll finally have to mention THE Drama, and it's THE because it's my favorite so far, and I've mentioned a few times, Empress Ki. 

And just so you know, the previous clue was not the Empress Qi (real empress in which is based the character of Ki), It's the Empress Wu Zetian, why? Because I found no picture of her (and when I say picture I say paint). And I chose as a substitute to her, Wu Zetian, not only because she seemed very cute, I choose her because her story is quite interesting because she was the first and only woman in Chinese history to occupy the throne. 

Anyway, let's start!

2013

Como ya sabemos es un Drama coreano de género histórico, que narra la vida de Ki Seung Nyang, una niña de Goryeo que es junto con su madre raptada de su pueblo natal para ser vendidas como esclavas o prostitutas. Con suerte Nyang consigue escapar y con el paso de los años consigue llegar a ser emperatriz y defender a su pueblo.

As we know it is a Korean Drama of historical genre, which chronicles the life of Ki Seung Nyang, a Goryeo girl is kidnapped with his mother in his hometown to be sold as slaves or prostitutes. Hopefully Nyang escapes and over the years gets to become empress and defend his people.

Amé este Drama en todos los sentidos, me enganchó desde el primer momento y es con el que más he llorado en toda mi vida, es prácticamente perfecto. Tiene 51 capítulos todos ellos de 1 hora de duración y puedo decir sin exagerar que me terminé el Drama en tan solo una semana. Llegaba de clase, me sentaba en mi silla y veía 6, 7 y hasta 8 capítulos seguidos y sin descanso. Y cabe destacar que tanto la ambientación como la actuación de los actores es totalmente impecable. Por desgracia aun sigue teniendo fallos desde mi punto de vista, el enganche era brutal, por lo menos hasta más o menos el capítulo 45, en el aparece la segunda emperatriz, desde mi punto de vista sobraba y tenía que haber ascendido Ki directamente, y luego está el asunto del final, que realmente lo odié, evidentemente no lo voy a contar, pero no me gustó nada. Claro que teniendo en cuenta que narra la historia real de una emperatriz real pues tenían que ser un poco fieles a la historia, pero con la de cosas que cambiaron ya podían haberle hecho lo mismo al final. Entiendo que alteren la historia para hacerla comercial, pero creo que no la explotaron como debían.

Aún así sigo diciendo que es el mejor Drama que he visto, y sin duda lo veré muchas más veces. Ya sabéis cómo me fascinan los personajes femeninos fuertes. 

I loved this Drama in every way, I was hooked from the start and with which I have cried more in my whole life, it's practically perfect. It has 51 episodes all about 1 hour long and I can say without exaggeration that I finished the drama in just one week. I came from class, I sat on my chair and saw 6, 7 or even 8 episodes followed up without rest. And it is noteworthy that both the setting and the performance of the actors is totally flawless. Unfortunately still having failures from my point of view, the hitch was brutal, at least until more or less episode 45 when the second Empress appears, from my point of view left over and had to be promoted directly Ki. And then there's the matter of the end, I really hated it, obviously I won't tell you, but I didn't like it. Of course, considering that tells the true story of a real empress and it had to be somewhat faithful to the story, but with all the things they changed they could have change the end too. I understand that they altered the story to make it commercial, but I think they didn't exploit it as they should.

Yet I still saying it's the best drama I've seen, and I'll definitely see many more times. You know how I am fascinated by strong female characters.

En resumen, si eres un Dramófilo, este Drama TIENE que estar en tu lista, no me vale que te hallas visto You're beautiful porque te aseguro que no tienen comparación alguna. Y la verdad, no sé a qué estas esperando.

In short, if you're a Drama Lover this Drama MUST be on your list, don't worth me you have seen You're beautiful because you certainly don't have any comparison. And frankly, I do not know what you're waiting for.

Vampire Host & Vampire Flower

Hoy a decir verdad no me siento con muchas ganas o fuerzas de escribir, leo cosas tan deprimentes y a la misma vez tan bonitas que me llegan a la patata y me dan ganas de llorar, de hecho tengo los ojos llorosos y no leo muy bien lo que escribo, pero no quiero estar mucho tiempo sin publicar entrada, ya sabéis, el modo de dar una vez en el clavo es dar cien veces en la herradura.

Today in fact I don't feel eager or forces to write, read things so depressing and at the same time so beautiful that touched my heart and makes me want to cry, in fact I have watery eyes and do not read very well what I write, but I don't want to stay long without publish an entry.

La pista anterior era demasiado sencilla, es evidente que la cosa va de vampiros hoy, y siento decir que no seré tan benévola como suelo ser, a decir verdad dudo mucho que vuelva a ver algún Drama o Dorama sobre vampiros, pero empecemos.

Como ya os había dicho, la fantasía me fascina, me encanta, es mi género favorito, y dentro de este una de mis criaturas fantásticas favoritas, los vampiros. Ahora, por favor dejad de pensar en Crepúsculo.

Vampire Host es un Dorama japones basado en el manga "Blood Hound" de Yuki Kaori. Después de la desaparición de su mejor amiga, Rion se aventura a buscarla, para ello sigue una de las pistas, una tarjeta de un Host club llamado "Kranken Haus" de temática vampírica. Con el fin de investigarlos de cerca rompe una botella de Dom Perignom que tendrá que pagar trabajando en el club.

Vampire Host is Japanese Dorama based on the manga "Blood Hound" by Kaori Yuki. After the disappearance of her best friend, Rion starts an adventure to find her, for that she follows one of the tracks, a card from a Host club called "Kranken Haus" of vampire theme. In order to investigate closely breaks a bottle of Dom Perignom that she will have to pay working at the club.

El Dorama me pareció que era para niños, una historia muy básica, actuaciones exageradas, luchas falsas y 0% romance. Lo único que lo hacía llevadero es que cada dos capítulos trata con una criatura fantástica diferente (en lo cual difiere del manga puesto que es un oneshot bastante soso). A parte de eso es muy rápido de ver puesto que tiene sólo 12 capítulos de 25 minutos cada uno.

The Dorama seems to me like it was for kids, a very basic story, exaggerated actuations, fake fights and 0% romance. The only thing that made it bearable is that every two chapters is dealing with a different fantastic creature (which differs in the manga since it is a fairly bland oneshot). Other thing is that it is very fast to see as it has only 12 episodes of 25 minutes each.

En general no lo recomendaría a no ser estéis buscando en concreto un Dorama cortito sobre vampiros porque en realidad no tenéis mucho donde elegir. En lo que respecta al manga que me leí porque era solo un Oneshot, cambia algunas cosas, aunque deja la esencia, de hecho al añadirle algo más de historia puedo decir con seguridad que es mucho mejor el Dorama que el manga.

Overall I wouldn't recommend to see it unless you are looking for a short Dorama about vampires in particular because in you don't have much choice. Regarding the manga I read it because it was just a oneshot, they change some things, but they leave the essence, in fact they add some more history so I can safely say that is much better the Dorama than the manga.

El siguiente no es que sea mucho mejor, de hecho la historia me resultó mucho más aburrida.

The following is not that much better, in fact I found the story much more boring.

Vampire Flower es un Drama coreano de tan solo 6 episodios que relata la historia de "amor" de Louis y Seo Yeong, y si búsqueda de la flor de los vampiros en el mundo de los humanos.

Vampire Flower is a Korean Drama of only 6 episodes that tells the story of "love" of Seo Yeong and Louis, and the search of the vampires flower in the world of humans.

Eso es todo, no hay más sinopsis. La historia es hipersencilla, los personajes son planos y cabe destacar que el final es una mierda, lo único bueno que tiene son los actores, que además de ser monísimos no actúan nada mal, la cagada principal está en la historia no es culpa de los actores al menos.

That's all, no more synopsis. The story is hyper simple, the characters are flat and it is noteworthy that the end is a shit, the only good thing are the actors, besides being really cute they don't act bad, the main shit is on the story is not the fault of the actors at least.

Si el primero no lo recomiendo, de este puedes pasar de largo completamente. No digo más.

If I don't recommend the first, you can skip this completely. No more to said.

En serio, si queréis ver alguna película de vampiros, dejando a un lado lo de si es asiática o no, ved Byzantium, la protagonista es Saoirse Ronan, y el personaje de Eleanor es amor.

Seriously, if you want to see a vampire movie, leaving aside whether it is Asian or not, behold Byzantium, Saoirse Ronan is the protagonist and the character of Eleanor is lovely.

Hot Young Bloods Film / Película

Sí, estoy viva y he vuelto, no os preocupéis, ya que no he subido ninguna entrada desde hace una semana, pero tengo algo llamado universidad a lo que me urge asistir y no he tenido mucho tiempo.
Voy al grano y dejo de quejarme, ok? Pues vamos.

Hot Young Bloods es una película coreana ambientada en los 80s, la cual trata de Young Sook, la lider de una banda de chicas delincuentes, y de Joong Gil un chico mujeriego que se dedica a seducir a todas las chicas de la escuela, de la que está secretamente enamorada Young Sook.

Hot Young Bloods is a Korean film set in the 80s, which is about Young Sook, the leader of a criminal gang girls, and Joong Gil, a womanizer guy dedicated to seduce every girl in school, who Young Sook is secretly in love with him.

Si te apetece ver una película donde haya mucha pelea esta es la tuya, aunque más que pelea yo diría palizas porque lo que es saber defenderse... pues no oye. Pero bueno, me gustó mucho la temática de las bandas callejeras y sobretodo la protagonista. Los personajes femeninos fuertes y con carácter (que es sinónimo de agresivo xD), de verdad que los amo. Las chicas luchadoras y los tios frikis superdotados (vease Spencer Reid, mentes criminales) le añaden caché a cualquier historia. Si es que ya sólo con lo que he dicho ya deberías como mínimo mirarte el trailer, y es que soy tan cool de decirte una cosa más para convencerte; el final es precioso, lloré como una nena, claro que también pueden ser las hormonas porque estoy con la regla, pero en fin, es una buena película.

If you want to see a movie where there is a lot of fight this is yours, but I would say more beatings... I think they don't know how to defend herself. But well, I really liked the theme of street bands and especially the protagonist. Strong and character (which is synonymous with aggressive xD) female characters , I really love them. The fighters girls and geeks intelligent guys (see Spencer Reid, Criminal Minds) add cache to any story. Just with what I said you should at least look at the trailer, and I'm as cool to say one more thing to convince you; the end is beautiful, I cried like a baby, maybe because of the hormones because I have my period, but in the end, is a good movie.

Fight: Kimi wa petto vs You are my pet!

Esta es una nueva sección a la que he llamado "Fight" (Me he complicado con el nombre, cuidado xD), que obviamente significa lucha, y consiste básicamente en comparar las distintas versiones de la misma historia, como podría ser el manga vs el anime. Aunque hoy no es el caso.

This is a new section that I called "Fight" (I have complicated the name, care xD), and basically consists of comparing different versions of the same story, as might be the manga vs the anime. Although today is not the case.

Hoy la lucha es entre el Dorama Japones Kimi wa petto y la película coreana You are my pet. Más atrás las mencioné en esta entrada en la que expresé mi miedo a aburrirme si veía la versión coreana, pues en teoría la historia es la misma. La respuesta es sí, me aburrió bastante y a medida que veía la película lo comparaba con el Dorama y le sacaba fallos por todos lados.

Today the fight is between "Kimi wa petto" the Japanese Dorama and the Korean film "You are my pet". Further back I mentioned in this post in which I expressed my fear to bore me if I saw the Korean version, because in theory the story is the same. The answer is yes, It bored me and while I was watching the film I was comparing to the Dorama and I found fails everywhere.

Primero que todo (tu no eres una princesa (?) ok, no), la protagonista era muy alta, que digo alta, altísima, era una viga y vivía acomplejada con su altura. También tenía un carácter muy fuerte que la película trata de imitar pero que no alcanza ni por asomo cuando lo comparas con el Dorama.

En la película se sacaron un hermano de la manga que le cobró a Momo un "alquiler", y por esa razón y a cambio de ser su mascota se quedó en el piso, en cambio en el Dorama estaba literalmente abandonado en una caja y ella lo vio y lo recogió, lo cual es evidentemente algo más típico de un manga, y a pesar de que no me lo he leído (lo haré sólo confirmar mis sospechas y actualizar la entrada más adelante) podría apostar a que el Dorama es 48763874593875498745 veces más fiel al manga que la película.

Vuelvo a hacer incapié en los personajes de la película porque realmente son igual de planos que un folio, y entiendo que sea complicado hacer un personaje en 3 dimensiones en una película que en una serie, básicamente porque hay mucho menos tiempo para desarrollarlos, pero se ha visto y demostrado que no es algo imposible.

Again I emphasize the characters in the film because they really are just as flat a sheet, and I understand that it is more difficult to make a character in 3D on a film than in a series, basically because there is much less time to develop, but it has seen and shown that it is not impossible.

Y por supuesto está la cuestión de Asano Satoshi, que era el tio loco al que acudía Sumire para pedir consejo sobre Momo, un personaje peculiar que desaparece por completo en la película.

And of course there is the question of Satoshi Asano, who was the crazy guy who Sumire went to ask for advice on Momo, a peculiar character who completely disappears in the film.

Para mí lo único bueno que tiene la versión coreana es el actor Jang Geun Suk, que a parte de ser un actorazo, su sola presencia hace que lo que estemos viendo no parezca la mierda que realmente es.

For me the only good thing about the Korean version is the actor Jang Geun Suk, who besides being a really good actor, their presence makes that the film we are seeing doesn't look the really shit it is.

En resumen, si lo que buscas es una buena historia con personajes tridimencionales y unas buenas risas, ve el Dorama, si por el contrario no quieres malgastar 10 horas de tu vida, siempre puedes ver la película, aunque recuerda que no son lo mismo.

In short, if you are looking for a good story with Three-dimensional characters and a good laugh, watch the Dorama, on the contrary, if you don't want to waste 10 hours of your life, you can always watch the movie, but remember they are not the same.

Ya sabes, no es oro todo lo que reluce.

14 Sai no Haha / Mother at fourteen / Una madre de 14 años

Siento desanimaros pero no voy a hacer una crítica de Juno, aunque sí que tiene algo que ver con el embarazo adolescente.

Sorry for discourage you but I'm not going to do a review of Juno, but it is related with teenage pregnancy.

Hoy voy a hablar del Dorama japonés 14 sai no haha (con el título ya se sabe que es japonés...), que trata de la vida de Miki Ichinose, una estudiante normal que sueña con ser locutora de radio. Hasta quen día conoce a Satoshi Kirino, un chico mayor que ella hijo de una importante directora, los dos comienzan a salir, y se dejan llevar.

Today I'll talk about the Japanese Dorama 14 sai no haha ​​(just with the title we know who is Japanese...), that dealing with the life of Miki Ichinose, a normal student whose dream is being a radio announcer. Until one day she meets Satoshi Kirino, an older boy, son of an important director, the two begin dating, and got swept up in passion.

Opinión Personal:
Me encanta este Dorama por el tema que trata en general, el embarazo adolescente, y más todavía porque es en Japón, y para ellos es muy importante la imagen que damos a los demás (bueno, esa es la teoría). Además de este tema aparecen otros como la familia y el aborto. Dejando los temas a parte, creo que el personaje de Miki sufre una gran evolución tras el embarazo, siente el rechazo de su familia y sus amigos en la escuela, pero aún así se mantiene fuerte y lucha por lo que cree a pesar de lo que piensen y digan los demás, es una auténtica luchadora.

Personal Opinion:

I love this Dorama by the subject matter in general, teen pregnancy, and more so because it is in Japan, and for them it is very important the image you give to others (well, that's the theory). In addition to this subject appear others like family and abortion. Leaving aside the topics, I think the character Miki undergoes a major change after pregnancy, she feels the rejection of his family and friends at school, but still remains strong and fight for what she believes despite what others think and say, she is a real fighter.

Recomiendo mucho este Dorama, que además de ser uno de los primeros que vi y me cautivaron, lo veo como un pequeño viaje a Japón, y creo que se puede aprender algo después de verlo.

I highly recommend this Dorama, besides being one of the first I saw and captivated me, I see it as a little trip to Japan, and I think you can learn something after watching it.

No sé de qué voy a hacer la siguiente entrada, así que hoy no hay ninguna pista, sólo pensad que la sorpresa será mayor  :3

Barbie, Korean film / Película coreana

Creo que la pista de la anterior entrada era un poco evidente, ¿no?
Pues sí hoy voy a hablar de Barbie, una película coreana de género Drama que me ha dejado impactada, pues estoy acostumbrada a ver películas coreanas del tipo comedia-romance o de terror (me encantan las películas de miedo *-*), y esta no tiene absolutamente nada que ver.

I think the clue of the previous post was a bit obvious, right? 
Well yes, today I'm going to talk about Barbie, a Korean film of drama genre that Shocked me because I am used to seeing Korean movies the type of comedy-romance or horror (I love scary movies *-*), and this has absolutely nothing to do.

2012

La historia va sobre dos hermanas que viven con su padre, el cual es discapacitado mental, y su tío, que no es precisamente la mejor persona del mundo. Soon Young la hermana mayor y cabeza de familia se encarga de ganar dinero, cocinar, y cuidar de su padre y su hermana, Soon Ja, que está siempre enferma y sueña con vivir en Estados Unidos. Mientras tanto su tío hace negocios con un hombre norteamericano para que adopte a Soon Young.

The story is about two sisters who live with their father, who is mentally disabled, and his uncle, who is not exactly the best person in the world. Soon Young as head of the family takes care of making money, cooking, and caring for her father and sister, Soon Ja, who is always sick and dreams to live in the United States. Meanwhile his uncle does business with an American man for adopt Soon Young.

Me encantaría poder decir más pero creo que cuanto menos diga mejor para vosotros, más de una vez he leído sinopsis que te contaban la película entera y me resulta algo muy frustrante.

I wish I could say more but I think the less said the is better for you, more than once I've read synopsis that had the whole movie and I find it very frustrating.

Opinión personal:
Creo que hasta ahora se lleva el primer puesto de todas las películas coreanas que he visto, que aún no son muchas pero son unas cuantas, y la verdad es que me ha encantado. Estuve a punto de llorar (a decir verdad no lloro mucho con las películas, aunque últimamente me tocan mucho la fibra sensible). Y los personajes son muy completos, al principio la hermana pequeña y el tío me caían como una patada en el culo, pero luego al final no tanto, el padre en general me era indiferente hasta que se volvió realmente tierno, y en fin, no hay muchas palabras más para describir esta película, pero de verdad vale la pena verla. Así que sólo dadle una oportunidad  ;).
Además esta película por el tema que trata puede dar lugar a un amplio debate que me encantaría empezar, pero no quiero estropearos nada de la película.

Personal opinion: 

I think it has the top of all the Korean movies I have seen, I haven't seen a lot yet but they are few, and the truth is that I loved it. I was about to cry (in fact I don't cry much with movies, but lately they really struck a chord). And the characters are very completes, at first the little sister and the uncle dropped me like a kick in the ass, but not so much at the end, the father was generally indifferent until he became really tender. There aren't many more words to describe this movie, but it really worth to watch it. So just give it a chance   ;).
Also this movie for the subject matter may lead to a broader discussion that I would love to start, but do not want to spoil anything about the movie.
