Pues sí hoy voy a hablar de Barbie, una película coreana de género Drama que me ha dejado impactada, pues estoy acostumbrada a ver películas coreanas del tipo comedia-romance o de terror (me encantan las películas de miedo *-*), y esta no tiene absolutamente nada que ver.

Well yes, today I'm going to talk about Barbie, a Korean film of drama genre that Shocked me because I am used to seeing Korean movies the type of comedy-romance or horror (I love scary movies *-*), and this has absolutely nothing to do.
2012La historia va sobre dos hermanas que viven con su padre, el cual es discapacitado mental, y su tío, que no es precisamente la mejor persona del mundo. Soon Young la hermana mayor y cabeza de familia se encarga de ganar dinero, cocinar, y cuidar de su padre y su hermana, Soon Ja, que está siempre enferma y sueña con vivir en Estados Unidos. Mientras tanto su tío hace negocios con un hombre norteamericano para que adopte a Soon Young.
The story is about two sisters who live with their father, who is mentally disabled, and his uncle, who is not exactly the best person in the world. Soon Young as head of the family takes care of making money, cooking, and caring for her father and sister, Soon Ja, who is always sick and dreams to live in the United States. Meanwhile his uncle does business with an American man for adopt Soon Young.
Me encantaría poder decir más pero creo que cuanto menos diga mejor para vosotros, más de una vez he leído sinopsis que te contaban la película entera y me resulta algo muy frustrante.
I wish I could say more but I think the less said the is better for you, more than once I've read synopsis that had the whole movie and I find it very frustrating.
Opinión personal:
Creo que hasta ahora se lleva el primer puesto de todas las películas coreanas que he visto, que aún no son muchas pero son unas cuantas, y la verdad es que me ha encantado. Estuve a punto de llorar (a decir verdad no lloro mucho con las películas, aunque últimamente me tocan mucho la fibra sensible). Y los personajes son muy completos, al principio la hermana pequeña y el tío me caían como una patada en el culo, pero luego al final no tanto, el padre en general me era indiferente hasta que se volvió realmente tierno, y en fin, no hay muchas palabras más para describir esta película, pero de verdad vale la pena verla. Así que sólo dadle una oportunidad ;).
Además esta película por el tema que trata puede dar lugar a un amplio debate que me encantaría empezar, pero no quiero estropearos nada de la película.
Personal opinion:
I think it has the top of all the Korean movies I have seen, I haven't seen a lot yet but they are few, and the truth is that I loved it. I was about to cry (in fact I don't cry much with movies, but lately they really struck a chord). And the characters are very completes, at first the little sister and the uncle dropped me like a kick in the ass, but not so much at the end, the father was generally indifferent until he became really tender. There aren't many more words to describe this movie, but it really worth to watch it. So just give it a chance ;).
Also this movie for the subject matter may lead to a broader discussion that I would love to start, but do not want to spoil anything about the movie.
